Homestage Tour - Ep. 12 - The Lucky Valentines

June 12, 2020

While Rosebud Theatre shows are paused, we're bringing audiences The Rosebud Homestage Tour. You’ve heard of a backstage tour? Well, this is a new twist, bringing you into the living rooms of artists connected with Rosebud to entertain you with bits of live music and theatre. Tune in every week to the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page for live concerts and performances by the people who make live theatre so worthwhile.

This week we featured The Lucky Valentines, the husband and wife songwriting team made of Shaun and Jamie Carrier. who have built a life out of "Making Sad Things Beautiful". They craft Folk Americana songs out of stories, melodies, and harmony that have been described as "stirring", and "haunting". Both are natives of Montana, but Jamie attended Prairie High School in Three Hills, and Rosebud School of the Arts, and feels like her soul is at least half Canadian.

Catch the next episode on the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page on Friday, June 19 at 12:00pm, featuring Caitlyn O'Connor with a bit of music. Caitlyn graduated from Rosebud School of the Arts in 2018. Select credits from Rosebud include Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Skin of Our Teeth, The Christians (Rosebud Theatre) , and Little Women (RSA).
