While Rosebud Theatre shows are paused, we're bringing audiences The Rosebud Homestage Tour.

You’ve heard of a backstage tour? Well, this is a new twist, bringing you into the living rooms of artists connected with Rosebud to entertain you with bits of live music and theatre. Tune in every week to the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page for live concerts and performances by the people who make live theatre so worthwhile.

This week we featured Nathan Schmidt and Cassia Schmidt who performed some music and small moments from past shows. Guests of Rosebud Theatre, may remember Nathan on stage as Daddy Sherry in The Kite and The Old Man in A Christmas Story. Cassia has starred in many Rosebud Theatre shows as well including Libby in Lilia!, The Narrator in Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Anne in Anne of Green Gables.

Catch the next episode on the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page on Friday, April 24 at 12:00pm, featuring Alixandra Cowman, Rosebud School of the Arts alumnus and guest artist for Rosebud Theatre. Alix has been in several shows including Chickens, The Spitfire Grill, and Bright Star. She is also a musical director and singer-songwriter making up half of the Alberta folk-duo, The Dearhearts.
We hope to see her this summer in Chariots of Fire.
