Homestage Tour - Ep. 8 - Lewis Frere

May 15, 2020

While Rosebud Theatre shows are paused, we're bringing audiences The Rosebud Homestage Tour. You’ve heard of a backstage tour? Well, this is a new twist, bringing you into the living rooms of artists connected with Rosebud to entertain you with bits of live music and theatre. Tune in every week to the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page for live concerts and performances by the people who make live theatre so worthwhile.

This week we feature long-time Rosebuddy, Lewis Frere with some music. Lewis has been on the Rosebud Theatre stage in Chickens but is perhaps more well-known as part of musical groups The Rosebud River Valley Boys, Lewis & Royal, and The Wheatland Band.

Catch the next episode on the Rosebud Theatre Facebook page on Friday, May 22 at 12:00pm, featuring The Lazy Sundays, a musical duo from northern Alberta composed of RSA alumni, Chris and Esther Friesen. While in Rosebud, Chris was in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Unity (1918). Esther was in The Amish Project and Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol. You may also remember them singing at the Mercantile during the buffet meal.

Sign-up for our emails to receive weekly reminders about upcoming performances of The Homestage Tour.
