The unbelievable true story of peace between enemies
The Western Front— Christmas, 1914. Out of the violence a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht,” beginning an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace. All is Calm relives an astounding moment in history when Allied and German soldiers emerged from their trenches and laid down their arms to celebrate Christmas together, sharing food and drink, playing soccer, and singing carols. A remarkable true story, told in the words and songs of the men who lived it.

We open the week before Remembrance Day with a show about WWI soldiers at Christmas! I’ve been watching this show develop for the past few years, hoping to be able to bring it to Canada and our theatre. And here we are with a show that delivers the spirit of Christmas, sung by soldiers in exquisite harmonies that go straight to the heart!
