‍Part-time: June 5 – August 14, 2023, averaging 32 hours/week

Hours: $16/hour for 320 hours

On the job training is provided.

‍Summary: Ever wanted to spend some time working in the tiny arts village of Rosebud? With a population of less than 100, Rosebud is one-hour north-east of Calgary, and is nestled in the Rosebud River valley. Home to the famous Rosebud Theatre, this little hamlet normally draws 30,000 – 35,000 people each year to its Opera House productions, and we are so grateful to be open again. This summer promises to be full of music, great food, warm hospitality and fabulous stories!

Thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs program, Rosebud Theatre & School of the Arts is looking to hire two people in two positions over the summer. Applicants must be able to work in-person in Rosebud, Alberta, and not be more than 30 years of age. Rosebud’s mission is “To Enrich Lives”, so therefore teamwork, a servant’s heart and a positive attitude is utmost for all positions.

Duties may include:

• Groundskeeping (mowing grass, edge trimming, watering, etc.)
• Some Gardening (planting flowers, weeding, etc.)
• Painting (exterior & interior, ladder work, etc.)
• Light Maintenance, Carpentry, & Repairs (experience is an asset but not required, work would be with another person leading tasks)
• Some Janitorial May be Required
• Other Maintenance Duties as Assigned
• Some heavy lifting may be required, and a safe work environment will be maintained.
