Mychael Maier

Mychael Maier is a native Calgarian. He received a diploma in Fine Art from the Alberta College of Art in 1986. In 1989 he received an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He has been an active member in the local art community for the past 25 years and has had his work shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions. He has been represented by Art is Vital, Harrison Galleries (Calgary and Vancouver), and Axis Contemporary Art. His work is in numerous collections, most notably that of Mark Tewksbury, Ross Bradley, Ranchmen’s Club Calgary, and the late Jack and Shirly Singer. He currently works part-time and maintains a vigorous studio practice.
