By Filamenta (Dawna Dey Harrish, Cathy Tomm & Sharon Willas Rubuliak) and features fibre art creations which express the artists’ opinion, humour, longing, and visions in a vibrant display of figurative and nature scapes. Dawna’s work explores the idea of feeling grounded as trees rooted in the ground.  Cathy’s work reflects the energy and tranquility she sees in nature.  Sharon is inspired by her yoga practice. 

 

Water Color Paintings Show
May 29 to August 30

Serene scenery and colourful expressions flow frm the watercolour brushes of this mother - daughter duo. Glenda Beaver and Sonja Zacharias each have their own style and have a wonderful way of interpreting the amazing variety of nature.

Sonja and Glenda have individually taught watercolour for many years. They are team teaching thir 9th annual "Paint the Coulees" 5-day watercolour workshop in June.

 

Trash to Treasure: the Art of Recycling

A group show by members of the Badland's Gallery in Drumheller, featuring intriguing art pieces made from discarded and recycled materials.  The Badlands Gallery in downtown Drumheller is an artists’ run gallery and features the work of local artists.
