Welcome to Rosebud Theatre's
25th Anniversary!
In 2008, we're bringing you a handful of plays - five in all, that are all about big stories in little places. They're stories about community; about seemingly unrealistic dreams born of spirit-filled longing; about tributes to people whose lives were so big they filled the spirits of those who had been left behind; about ordinary people doing extraordinary new things because the longing in their souls could not be contained in the everyday of life. When the lights go down in our two theatres this season, our actors will walk out onto a designer's illustration of the world of any of our given plays to speak and sing. Our treasured patrons will sit in the safety of a darkened room, waiting to let themselves be transported into places their spirits have longed to go, but rarely have the chance to visit - little places with big stories.
