Deanne Bertsch - Guest Artist, Rosebud Theatre
 



Deanne Bertsch

Deanne is thrilled to be a part of the 2010 season!  Deanne has choreographed several Rosebud musicals over the past five years including Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof and Man of La Mancha.  Deanne also teaches drama and dance at Strathmore High School and she teaches movement at Rosebud School of the Arts. A special thank you to Cam, Kiara and Tavia for their endless support.
 

 

Jeanette "Jette" Brown
Theatre is in Jette’s blood having grown up near London, England and lived in Stratford-on-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace. During Jette’s career she has been a teacher, principal, lecturer, stage manager, director, designer and costumer. Jette has over 70 production credits, favourites being Man of La Mancha, Much Ado About Nothing and Kiss Me Kate. She has worked for individuals, schools and organizations such as the English Civil War Society, the Red Deer Chamber Singers, Strathmore Theatre Players’ Guild, The Canadian Badlands Passion Play and the Canadian Badlands Summer School, Rosebud Theatre and Rosebud School of the Arts. Jette is delighted to be working in Rosebud’s creative environment.
 

 

Cheryl Daugherty
Cheryl enjoys painting and has had the great opportunity to paint for the Rosebud Theatre. Past scenic painting credits include Mary’s Wedding, A Christmas in Wales and Confessions of a Paperboy. Cheryl lives in Rosebud with her family and a big black and white dog named Homer.  If you see Homer around town, please don’t feed him, no matter what sob story he gives you.
 
Morris Ertman  

Morris Ertman
2010 is Mr. Ertman’s ninth season as the Artistic Director of Alberta’s own Rosebud Theatre. Morris has worked extensively in Canada as a director, designer and playwright with close to two hundred theatrical productions to his credit. Highlights include the direction of Rosebud Theatre’s Man of La Mancha, Mary’s Wedding, Fiddler on the Roof, Damien, On Golden Pond, Talley’s Folly, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat; Vancouver Pacific Theatre’s acclaimed productions of Espresso (recipient of seven Jessie Richardson Award nominations, including Best Production and Critics Choice for Most Innovative Production), “MASTER HAROLD”…and the Boys (which won two Jessie Richardson Awards as well as being nominated for Best Production and Best Direction), The Quarrel, St. Joan, Cotton Patch Gospel (three Jessie Richardson Award nominations, including Outstanding Direction) and the premiere of Ron Reed’s Chalmers award-winning play The Book of the Dragon. He has also worked with Rosebud Theatre’s close cousin on Vancouver Island - Chemainus Theatre. Highlights there include An L.M. Montgomery Christmas, Christmas on the Air, The Fantastiks and A Christmas Carol. He has directed and/or designed for Vancouver Opera, Mirvish Productions, The Canadian Opera Company, Edmonton Opera, The Stratford Festival, The National Arts Centre, Manitoba Theatre Centre, The Citadel Theatre and The Blyth Festival, and most recently directed the debut of Rosebud’s own Lucia Frangione’s ParadiseGarden at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver. He is also responsible for the conception, writing (with Ron Reed) and direction of the musical Tent Meeting (four Dora Mavor Moore nominations including Best New Musical and Best Production and an Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award nomination for Outstanding Musical). The show has been produced in numerous theatres in the US and Canada. Morris is presently writing the Tent Meeting screenplay in preparation for the film. Mr. Ertman is the recipient of nine Sterling Awards and a Dora Award for the Canadian Opera Company’s Beatrice et Benedict. He is also named in Theatre 100, a publication of 100 Alberta artists who have made a noteworthy contribution to Alberta’s theatre in the last century.

Morris resides in Millet and Rosebud with Joanne, his son Jesse, with frequent visits from daughter Holly, son Luke and daughter-in-law Trina.

Jerod Fahlman


Jerod Fahlman

Jerod is pleased to be in his second season as Rosebud Theatre’s technical director and head of lighting. He has worked for over twenty theatre companies in thirteen cities during his career, including Vancouver's Arts Club, Regina's Globe Theatre and Calgary's Alberta Theatre Projects as a technician and designer. He is proud to be a part of this community and hopes you enjoy coming to our shows as much as we enjoy producing them.

Brad G. Graham

Having begun his tenure at Rosebud Theatre as a shop assistant in 1999, Brad has worked up to being head of props, resident stage manager, an occasional lighting designer and technical theatre instructor for Rosebud School of the Arts. He trained in Alberta Theatre Project’s Jr. Apprenticeship Program and Red Deer College’s Theatre Technology Program. Some of Brad’s favourite selected credits include Salt-Water Moon by David French, Richard III by William Shakespeare, The Voice of the Prairie by John Olive and Billy Bishop Goes to War by John Gray & Eric Peterson. Brad thanks his amazing wife, GW, for her love and support. 


Becky Halterman

 

Becky Halterman
Becky is honoured and thrilled to be able to light design the Opera House shows for the 2010 season. She is a graduate of RSA from 1997 in both light design and stage management. Some of her favorite shows she has worked on include A Christmas in Wales, Mary's Wedding, Man of La Mancha, Godspell, The Diviners and Cotton Patch Gospel. This year marks a huge change in Becky and her family's life as they are moving to St. Albert. Much love and thanks for all the support she has received over the years and a huge hug to Tyler, Xavier, Sebastian, Dominic and Immanuel.

Tyler Halterman

The ride in Rosebud has been fun for Tyler. He looks forward to 2010 and all the new challenges. Tyler has been in Rosebud since 1991 and has stage managed since 1993. This year he will be managing We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! Some of his favourite shows have been Cariboo Magi, Cotton Patch Gospel and Man of La Mancha. He also acted and directed in that time but now coaches people to live their life’s calling. He has had a blast being in this theatre for this long. Blessings to all of you. Thanks for coming.
 
Bill Hamm

 

Bill Hamm
Bill has been music director for Rosebud School of the Arts and Rosebud Theatre since 1989. He conducts choirs, teaches voice and speech classes, and has directed the music for numerous shows including Cotton Patch Gospel, Quilters, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Godspell and Fiddler on the Roof. Bill is the composer and music director of The Canadian Badlands Passion Play and sings with the Canadian Chamber Choir. Bill and his wife Renita have four children and one grandchild. Bill enjoys running, mountain biking, hockey and home renovations.

Leah is overjoyed to be directing Woza Albert! on the Studio Stage this summer. As a member of Rosebud Theatre’s Company of Artists, some of her favorite productions include Christmas in Wales, Fiddler on the Roof, The Homecoming, The Good Doctor, The Foreigner, Arms and the Man, The Curious Savage, Steel Magnolias and Pith! Leah’s writing credits include co-writing St. Nick’s Magical Mystical Mystery Tour and The Giant’s Heart. She is grateful for life and the magic of story. “Peace”
 
Belinda Jackson

 

Belinda Jackson
Belinda graduated from the Rosebud School of the Arts Mentorship Technical Theatre Programme in 2009. Since then, she has worked in a number of cities, including Banff and Calgary, but is happy to be back in Rosebud. Select stage management credits include Damien (Rosebud Theatre), The Quarrel (Midnight Theatre Collective), You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Rosebud School of the Arts), Soldier’s Heart (Loudly Whispered Theatre) and Dad's Piano (Company of Adventurers/Kelly Brothers Production). Select assistant stage management credits include Festival Dance 2009 (The Banff Centre) and The Christmas Tree (Lunchbox Theatre). Love and thanks to MB.

As a recent graduate of the Rosebud School of the Arts Mentorship Acting Programme, Kelsey is delighted to return to the Opera House as well as the Studio Stage for the 2010 Rosebud Theatre Season.  Selected credits for Rosebud Theatre include Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof and Maria/Housekeeper in Man of La Mancha.  Selected credits for Rosebud School of the Arts include Rosalind in As You Like It and Liz in When the Sun Meets the Earth.

Mark Lewandowski

It’s been over 20 years since Mark came to Rosebud. Early on, he spent most of his time on stage. But now he is most often behind the scene as production manager or director (and sometimes both).Selected directing credits include Billy Bishop Goes to War, Christmas on the Air (Rosebud Theatre), The Furniture of Heaven, The Rich Man (Rosebud School of the Arts), Perchance to Dream? (Sloughfoot Stubble Jumpers), The Last Five Years (Earthen Vessel Creations) and Craving (Fire Exit Theatre). He lives in Rosebud with his wife, two children and a couple of snakes.

Rachel Peacock
Rachel is excited to be working with Rosebud Theatre for another season. A graduate of Rosebud School of the Arts, Rachel resides in Rosebud where she works as an actor, musician, music director and sound designer. Theatre credits include a Welsh harp-playing faerie in A Christmas in Wales, a musician in Man of La Mancha, Celeste in St. Nick’s Magical Mystical Mystery Tour (Rosebud Theatre), Celia in As You Like It, a musician/Tivvy in Precious Bane (Rosebud School of the Arts), Katie in To Forgive, Divine (Fire Exit Theatre) and Mary Magdalene in The Canadian Badlands Passion Play.

Norma Roth

Norma is very pleased to be back in Rosebud permanently. No more degrees for awhile. Look for her in the classroom, recruiting new students and designing for the upcoming season. Past credits include costume designs for Mary’s Wedding, Godspell, The Voice of the Prairie, Carpenter’s Blues & Angel News, Life History of the African Elephant, Cariboo Magi and Shadowlands for Rosebud Theatre. Previous acting credits include The Diviners, Footprints of a Pilgrim, Cariboo Magi, Chickens, Christmas in the Country, The Curious Savage and Steel Magnolias for Rosebud Theatre and Quilters for Pacific Theatre in Vancouver.

Nathan Schmidt
Nathan is a long-time member of the Rosebud Theatre Resident Company.  Favourite roles include Father Damien in Damien, Leon Schwab in The Voice of the Prairie and the oldest man in the world, Daddy Sherry in The Kite. Most recently Nathan was in A Christmas in Wales, Man of La Mancha and Fiddler on the Roof (Rosebud Theatre).  Other shows include The Quarrel (Midnight Theatre Collective), A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Sound of Music (Chemainus Theatre Festival), Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol (Loudly Whispered Theatre)  Many thanks to the patrons returning to our theatre and our town, we love sharing it with you.

Karl Sine
Karl works as an actor, director, fight director, stage combat instructor and is one of the founders and the artistic director of Loudly Whispered Theatre. Karl is excited to be joining Rosebud Theatre this year directing We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! and playing Bill Sykes in Rosebud’s summer production, Oliver! Past Rosebud Theatre credits include Mary’s Wedding, Fiddler on the Roof, The Homecoming, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe andVillage of Idiots. Karl wishes to thank his beautiful wife Lindsey and his loving family for their continuing support in what he loves doing!
 
David Snider - Resident Artist, Rosebud Theatre

 

David Snider
This is David’s fourth season at Rosebud Theatre and he is happy to call this special place home. Previous roles include Don Quixote/Cervantes in Man of La Mancha, Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, George/Bob in Tent Meeting, Jesus for The 2007 Canadian Badlands Passion Play and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor™ Dreamcoat. He also spent eight years as an associate artist with Chemainus Theatre Festival on Vancouver Island. David is also a sound designer, composer, writer and director. He received his M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Illinois. Special thanks to Jeany, Donovan and Weston.


Stephen Waldschmidt - Resident Artist, Rosebud Theatre

Stephen is a freelance actor, director, designer and graphic artist. Acting credits: A Christmas in Wales and Tent Meeting (Rosebud Theatre), Jesus in The Canadian Badlands Passion Play and Chickens (Pacific Theatre). Directing credits: Hockey Dad: A Play in 3 Periods (burnt thicket theatre, which he co-created with James Popoff), A Rattling Sound and Match (Pacific Theatre). Scenic design credits: Lettice & Lovage, Christmas on the Air and Damien (Rosebud Theatre), The Quarrel (Midnight Theatre Collective) and Grace (Pacific Theatre). Rob Webster - Resident Artist, Rosebud Theatre

 

Rob Webster
Rob has been fortunate to have worked for Rosebud Theatre since 1997. In 2010 he will be focusing more on set carpentry and sound, as these have become his real passions in theatre. He discovered the magic of music at a young age and has played guitar ever since. He also has formal recording studio education from Calgary. His love of building came from his father who engaged him in many renovation projects at home and as a job. Rob looks forward to many new surprises on the Rosebud Stage to come.
 
Susan Webster - Resident Artist, Rosebud Theatre
 

Susan Webster

Susan has always had a deep appreciation for art (especially paintings) as and has formal training in acrylics and watercolour. She is happy to have the opportunity to work on the larger canvas of theatre. “Sometimes I need to think outside the box, but that brings the joy of the challenge. Where else do you get to copy a classic Chagall painting on a huge background of rough boards, as I did with Fiddler on the Roof in the summer of 2008? It's exciting to wonder what 2010 will bring.”

Luke Ertman 

 

Luke Ertman
Luke Ertman obtained his Bachelor of Music from the University of Alberta. Selected theatre credits include Rosebud Theatre’s productions of Talleys Folly, The Good Doctor, The Quarrel, Trying, Lettice & Lovage, Confessions of a Paperboy and Marys Wedding; Pacific Theatres productions of The Hungry Season, The Quarrel, The Woodsman, and Holy Mo; as well as productions of The Wizard of Oz, Picnic, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet and Hansel and Gretel. Luke also performs with the group Fools Tongue. They released their first CD last year, toured western Canada and are currently working on their next CD project.
 
Terry Gunvordahl - Rosebud Theatre - Guest Artist

 
Terry Gunvordahl
Terry Gunvordahl’s stage designs this season his designs include Scorched for Sage Theatre, Woman in Black for Vertigo and Ash Girl for Mount Royal College. His designs have been nominated fourteen Betty Mitchell Awards. Terry returned to the stage as an actor in Downstage’s production of The Dishwashers where he was nominated for outstanding actor in a supporting role and he recently performed in Heroes for Sage Theatre. Terry has also designed major exhibits for the Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, The Military Museums, Science Alberta and The Glenbow Museum as well as for film, television, opera, amusement parks, cruise ships and the occasional Stampede float.
 
Aaron Krogman

Originally from Red Deer, Aaron is a graduate of the Mentorship Acting Program at RosebudSchool of the Arts. Aaron is so pleased to hit the deck this season at Rosebud Theatre. Credits include Dylan Thomas in A Christmas in Wales, Danny in Christmas on the Air, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof and The Narrator in For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again. Aaron loves his family very much.Born and raised in Red Deer, Aaron is a graduate of the Mentorship Acting Programme at Rosebud School of the Arts. Aaron is thrilled to climb the stage this season at Rosebud Theatre. Previous acting credits include Danny in Christmas on the Air, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Birdshot in The Homecoming, Cherdyakov in The Good Doctor, Nathan in St. Nick's Magical Mystical Mystery Tour and Asher in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat. Andrew Legg - Rosebud Theatre - Guest Artist 

 
Andrew Legg
Having taken a hiatus from acting to start a coffee roasting business and work in freelance illustration, Andrew is glad to return home to the stage.  Raised in Lethbridge, he has worked extensively throughout western Canada but working back in Rosebud fulfills a long standing dream for this Southern Alberta boy. Recent roles include The Little Big Man in the Chemainus Theatre Festival’s A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline.  And no less than 43 characters in Dickens’ own one-man A Christmas Carol in winter 2009.
 
Colin Lowe - Rosebud Theatre - Guest Artist

 
Colin Lowe
Colin is a native Calgarian who works in the film and video industry as a camera operator and editor. He has also been a sound and lighting designer and composer for more than 10 years in the Alberta theatre scene. Credits include Under a Bridge Along a River (sound design/composer), Craving (sound design), Steele Magnolias (sound design/lighting design), The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (sound design/composer and arranger). He has also directed various choirs in Calgary. This is Colin's first show in Rosebud and he is thrilled to be part of the production team.

John McIver - Guest Artist, Rosebud Theatre
 

John McIver
John is happy to be back on the Rosebud Theatre stage this year. He graduated from RosebudSchool of the Arts in 2008. Some past credits with Rosebud Theatre include Frost at MidnightFiddler on the Roof and Man of La Mancha. Over the past year, John has become increasingly aware of how much he depends on the love and support of his family and friends and he'd like to thank them all. He hopes you enjoy whichever show you have come here today to see.

Giovanni Mocibob
 

Giovanni Mocibob
After a long break since Man of La Mancha and Confessions of a Paperboy last summer, Giovanni is happy to be back in Rosebud for We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! He's toured countless schools in Western Canada with Trickster Theatre and Evergreen Theatre and recently moved to Vancouver to continue his pursuit of a film career. Select short films credits include Ventra and Near Mint. Other Rosebud Theatre credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Village of Idiots, Godspell and The Proposal. He looks forward to getting back to Vancouver and his fiancée, Holly.

Although Paul has been in Rosebud for the last 9 years serving as actor, director, teacher and education director, he has spent this past year in Toronto working on his MFA in Directing at York University. Besides working professionally in various theatres in Canada, Paul has been in many Opera House productions including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, Billy Bishop Goes to War, Arms and the Man, Chickens, The Voice of the Prairie, Godspell, Fiddler on the Roof and Christmas on the Air. Directing credits include bobrauschenbergamerica, Oedipus, The Tempest, When the Sun Meets the Earth, Salt-Water Moon, The Drowning of Wasyl Nemichuk, Crimes of the Heart and The Homecoming.
 
 
Shauna Murphy
Shauna moved to Rosebud in 1996 with her husband the Chef and three little kids and still loves it today!  She is thrilled to play the piano for The Secret Garden this season. Shauna has played in four other Rosebud shows – Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, Godspell and Amahl and the Night Visitors.  She is grateful for the love and support from her kids, husband and parents. She would like to send love to her piano teacher, Lillian Upright for giving her the tools to make music in such an amazing place!

Sarah Penner - Rosebud Theatre - Guest Artist
 
 
Sarah Penner
Having spent time in Rosebud as a music intern in 2005, Sarah is ecstatic to return to the theatre in the role of pianist for Oliver. When not on adventures like this summer, she divides her time between accounting and teaching music theory up in the great Peace country. Sarah has accompanied several choirs and voice students over the last several years, and last year had the privilege of singing in Handel’s Messiah for the first time. In between shows, Sarah is hoping to find a forage harvester in need of an operator.

Cari Russell
Cari Russell is a Rosebud graduate of the Mentorship Acting Programme, 2007.  Since graduating she has primarily worked for Trickster Theatre, a physical theatre for children, based out of Calgary.  This past summer she was in FortMacLeod at the Empress Theatre, as a summer resident artist performing, teaching and tour guiding the beautiful 98 year old historical building.  Past credits for Rosebud Theatre include The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, St. Nick's Magical Mystical Mystery Tour, Trying and Christmas on the Air.

Marie Russell
It’s always a surprise and a delight to work with such a great company of artists,” says Marie, whose recent Rosebud shows have been For the Pleasure of Seeing Her Again and Lettice and Lovage. But when that company includes her own family, it’s time to “Whoot! High fives all around, kids, who’d a thunk, we’re in a show together!” Marie is a freelance actor, singer/songwriter and proud mom of a couple crackerjack performers in this season’s Oliver! Now, Rosebud is so much more than this hamlet, and Marie is only knee-deep in this large, long-established community, but she loves it here. And she dares to consider herself at home.
 
 
Lindsey Sine
Lindsey is excited about performing once again in Woza Albert! and playing the part of Mbongeni on the Studio Stage this summer. Lindsey graduated from the RosebudSchool of the Arts Acting Programme in 2008 and has been busy ever since. Together with her husband, they founded Loudly Whispered Theatre (www.loudlywhisperedtheatre.com), a new company performing primarily in Medicine Hat, AB. Selected past credits include Woza Albert! (Locale Productions), Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (Loudly Whispered Theatre), The Duchess of Malfi (Mob Hit Productions) and The Good Doctor (Rosebud Theatre). Thank you to her family and to her wonderful husband Karl!

Mike is an eleven year Rosebud veteran who’s been in such shows as Fiddler on the Roof, Damien and A Christmas in Wales. Oliver! is his second venture in to the realm of all things musical and he’s grateful to be a part of it. He hope you will all enjoy it.

Carmen Belanger
Carmen is from Prince Edward Island and is currently a second-year student in the Mentorship Acting Programme. She has recently performed in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Rosebud School of the Arts), and looks forward to being on stage in The Keeper (Rosebud School of the Arts) and Oliver! (Rosebud Theatre) in 2010. Dum tempus habemus operemur bonum (while we have time, let us do good). Special thanks to Cyndi Lauper.
 
   

 

Conrad Belau
Hailing from Outlook, Saskatchewan, Conrad is in his second year in the Mentorship Programme at Rosebud School of the Arts. He has previously acted in the RSA Studio Stage productions You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Linus) and The Keeper (Gehazi) along with various community and church productions. He will be performing this season on the Opera House Stage in Oliver! and The Secret Garden for Rosebud Theatre. Conrad is an avid board game player, movie watcher and is often considered the fourth Jonas Brother. “I love my fam. God is good!”
 
 
Natalie Blanchard - Apprentice, Rosebud Theatre 

 

 

Natalie Blanchard
Natalie was born and raised in Drayton Valley, Alberta and has now lived in Rosebud for three years as a student in the Mentorship Dramatic Arts Programme at Rosebud School of the Arts. Natalie is excited to be a part of the 2010 Season as assistant stage manager for We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! Assistant stage management credits include Man of La Mancha for Rosebud Theatre. Acting credits include The Giant's Heart and Troy Women, both for Rosebud School of the Arts. Natalie would like to send out her love to her amazing family back at home.
 
   

 

Emma Cobb
Emma loves her busy life as a second year student in the Mentorship Acting Programme. From Bragg Creek, Alberta, she loves dancing and has training in ballet, jazz and modern just to name a few. Kimberly Giebler
Kimberly is in her second year of the Mentorship Acting Programme at Rosebud School of the Arts. She is originally from Calgary and excited to be part of Rosebud Theatre’s 2010 Season. Alex Hart
Alex is delighted to be a part of Rosebud Theatre’s 2010 season. Hailing from an obscure planet in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, he is a student in the Mentorship Acting Programme who has journeyed to Rosebud from Calgary, AB. Some recent acting credits include You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder) and The Keeper with Rosebud School of the Arts and The Canadian Badlands Passion Play for the last three summers. Alex sends an abundance of love and thanks to his family, friends and EJ.

Sienna is thrilled to be performing in two musicals for Rosebud Theatre on the Opera House stage in 2010 – Oliver! and The Secret Garden. Hailing from Edmonton, she is in her third year of Rosebud School of the Arts’ Mentorship Acting Programme and loving every minute of it. Last season, Sienna was in Man of La Mancha (Rosebud Theatre), The Giant's Heart, Troy Women (Rosebud School of the Arts) and Hairspray (Strathmore High School). She'd like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.

Kendra Hutchinson
Once again Kendra is absolutely thrilled to "consider herself at home" in Rosebud's 2010 season. She is excited about upcoming performances such as We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! as well as Oliver! Originally from Bragg Creek, Kendra has spent the past four years in Rosebud and is almost finished the Mentorship Acting Programme here. Selected acting credits include Lettice and Lovage, Fiddler on the Roof, When the Sun Meets the Earth and The Rich Man. Kendra would like to thank her wonderful roommates, her encouraging family and this peculiar town for making her time here extraordinary.
 
   

 

Jennifer Nishi
Jennifer hails from Surrey, BC. She has finished her second year of the Rosebud School of the Arts Mentorship Programme majoring in Dramatic Arts. Past Rosebud School of the Arts credits include The Keeper and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is mere 4’11” and has the smallest adult feet in Rosebud. She is beyond excited to be a part of her first Opera House show. She wants to thank her family and her friends Ally and B&K for all their love and endless support.

Lennette Randall
The African Beauty and World Traveller, Lennette Randall, is currently in the Mentorship Acting Programme at Rosebud School of the Arts and is enjoying her experiences of prairie life and of living in a theatre community. Lennette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Communication from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Her recent acting credits include Mary Magdalene in The Canadian Badlands Passion Play and Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. “I am a cosmopolitan. I think of myself as a snail. I carry my home on my back. Wherever I land, I make it home.”

Cassia is excited to be a part of Rosebud Theatre's 2010 season. Originally from Olds, she is now a third year student in Rosebud School of the Arts Acting Programme. Credits include, The Giant's Heart and Troy Women (Rosebud School of the Arts), Man of La Mancha and A Christmas in Wales (Rosebud Theatre) and The Canadian Badlands Passion Play. She is grateful for the incredible support and beauty found in this valley and the people who live in it, and sends heaps of love to her family. You'll see Cassia this season in Oliver! and The Secret Garden.

Alysa van Haastert
Alysa is thankful for the privilege of considering Rosebud home. Alysa, originally from Rimbey, Alberta, is in her third year in Rosebud School of the Arts’ Mentorship Acting Programme. You may remember her from Craving (FireExit Theare), The Giant’s Heart, Troy Women (Rosebud School of the Arts) and A Christmas in Wales (Rosebud Theatre). This season you will see her as Elsa in The Road to Mecca. Alysa is solely thankful to God for His many blessings. Philippians 4:13.
