Michael Becker
Michael Becker

Becker has had a rather long career in the theatre, and has made buckets full of music for many regional houses in Canada. He has also composed for film, TV and radio. One of his favourite shows was the TV series Acorn, the Nature Nut
for which he won the SOCAN award for the Most Children’s Music in Canada two years running. Becker also gets to play live music with a diverse bunch of talented musicians occasionally, which has lately inspired him to write his own tunes. Hopefully, a wee CD will be forthcoming later this year…with a bit o’ luck! Becker has had no formal post-secondary education, but he gleefully continues to benefit from a casual one.
